Standby monitor problem

When I turn my pc back on from standby, my monitors do not work. I have to turn off the pc and unplug each monitor from my video card, plug it back in, and then start the pc again. Any reason why this is happening?

Sounds like you have a video card problem I would look into a cheepo basic video card and take your fancy one out and try the cheepo if that fixes the problem then you will need a new video card
