Buying new monitor

So expensive though... Hmm... do I want a 20" with 16:9, or 22" with 16:10.... What would you guys choose? I'm stuck.

Like I said before, monitors are all pretty even quality wise, in my experience anyways. Get one of the Acers, go with the price/size you want, and don't worry about the ratios and response time. Those numbers are all skewed anyways.

^far from it. I have a good bit of experience dealing with monitors. the higher the response rate the more ghosting you will see. Some can't tell the difference lower then 5ms, some can. The larger the contrast ratio, the more vivid colours will look (especially blacks). Some monitors Handel gtg badly though, meaning you could get a 2ms monitor, but still see ghosting. The first acer mentioned by meister was better.

Is it so much better that it's worth losing 2" though? Also, the first one is 16:9, while the future shop one is 16:10. Which is better?

^depends if you want that 2" extra. Nah, 16:9-16:10, you don't gotta worry about that.
