I am replacing my NVIDIA 7600 with an ATI RADEON 7850 Graphics card.
I know how to actually change over hardware.

I would like information on what, if any systems/programs I would need to disable or delete and also replace/download. I know I need to download an updated driver for the graphics card.

Can you also advise of the order that this should be done.

Thankyou

Uninstall the Nvidia drivers first through Add/Remove Programs (in XP) or Programs and Features (in Vista). Reboot the computer into Safe Mode and use Driver Sweeper to make sure all remnants of them are gone. Reboot back into regular Windows and install the ATI drivers. once they are finised it will require another reboot, and then you are finished.
