For 300 bucks... after mir, yha, you'll be smoken... It's not even in the same galaxy as the old 9600gt.

I have never installed a PSU but from what I am reading it looks to be very easy. so I might go for both upgrades.

Yeah, swapping out a PSU is a piece of cake. Almost as easy as adding RAM.
