Alright now my sister needs a laptop. No more like wants a laptop... I couldn't convince her to let me build here a tower. Anyway she has about $1000, a little more soon. So nothing much over $1000. She wants a Accidental Damage too, but that won't be included into the $1000. So for just the computer what can see get... This will be a General computer for internet, and light gaming. She wants to play SIMS 3 on it, when it comes out in a month.... Anyway what is her best computer she can buy... That will hopefully last 5-6 years.

I don't want her with a HP, Sony, or Toshiba... I much prefer ASUS, Gateway, and Dell, in this order...

This is what I have picked out so far...
Newegg.com - ASUS F50SV-X1 NoteBook Intel Core 2 Duo T6400(2.00GHz) 16" 4GB Memory 320GB HDD 5400rpm DVD Super Multi NVIDIA GeForce GT 120M - Laptops / Notebooks
Newegg.com - ASUS N80 Series N80Vn-X5 NoteBook Intel Core 2 Duo P8600(2.40GHz) 14.1" Wide XGA 4GB Memory 320GB HDD 7200rpm DVD Super Multi NVIDIA GeForce 9650M GT - Laptops / Notebooks
Newegg.com - ASUS F50 Series F50SV-A1 NoteBook Intel Core 2 Duo P8600(2.40GHz) 16" 4GB Memory 320GB HDD 7200rpm DVD Super Multi NVIDIA GeForce GT 120M - Laptops / Notebooks
Newegg.com - MSI GT627-216US NoteBook Intel Core 2 Duo P8400(2.26GHz) 15.4" Wide XGA 4GB Memory 320GB HDD 7200rpm DVD Super Multi NVIDIA GeForce 9800M GS - Laptops / Notebooks

I think the Asus N80Vn or the MSI are the best bets there, both have a huge amount of power in for the size. the nvidia 9650M GT and the 9800M GS are bother powerful graphics cards for the form factor theyre in. the GT 120M on the Asus F50 isnt particularly powerful.
