What is the best 512 3200 memory?

I need to get another stick of 512mb 3200pc memory......it has to be around 80 bucks..............thanks

The best would be finding a stick that will work with your current stick. Regardless of where you buy it, or what kind you buy, you had better test it with your current stick before loading windows.
Anytime you mix ram you should test it first.

You can download it from www.memtest86.com and they have a version for floppies and cd's.

As for what kind, you might check www.pricewatch.com for a good price, but do it soon! Prices could be going up on DDR1 ram.

ok....i ran memtest and let it do 2 passes then quit it.......i had no errors

so do i just get memory and run memtest again...then if i fet errors return that memory and get different kind?

also....which memory should i try first.....please give me a link through www.newegg.com and it has to be around 80 bucks

He means you need to find out what brand your current stick is and try to find a duplicate rather then mixing brands and timings
