If they were both overclocked to their maxes, the 4890 would be the champ. It still seems to me as if the 4890 is the better card.

I think either 9.2 or 9.3 made significant performance improvements, and the others basically made bug fixes.

I remember getting a nice gain in Crysis updating my drivers

GTX 285 SLI vs 4890 CF

On average GTX 285 SLI is less than 1% faster at 1920x1200 when compared to 4890 CF :/ Seeing as the 4890 is not even supposed to compete with the 285 in terms of pricepoint I'd say this is yet further proof that it should be ranked higher than the 275. Heck, I think it should be equal with the 285

Funny how my last three cards are separated by almost even difference in positions (50-60 approx.). Shows that I always buy the mid-high end sweet spot (price wise) I suppose.

now AMD needs to fix their drivers then i would be very satisfied. Many ATI owners cant play Left 4 Dead after 9.2 Catalyst. I looked on the official forums. The error is that the game thinks ur graphics card is outdated when it shouldnt be. The game crashes at any random point u play. I hate it when it happens.

I have problems with empire total war and the drivers. I can't enable any of the effects.

In all seriousness, the only driver issues I have had with ATI were due to my own stupidity.
