Okay, I'd reseat and add a fan to the back panel.

The case doesn't seem to have much flow, so youre probably getting a hot pocket. Staples/bestbuy/etc has them for like 20 bucks at most, or cheaper from a local shop.

Gotta get the heat out.

My CPU went down to 27 celsius idle and my case feels like a freaking ice cube, so eh I think the air flow is good, but my cpu heat sink just isn't good or isn't applied right.

Wishful thinking maybe, but hehe...

what program are you getting the temps from?...and what are you using to push the cpu to 100%?

I use Speedfan and Everest, as well as HWmonitor. They all display the same temperature readings.

And I don't know if my cpu ever reaches 100% while gaming, but that's the only intensive thing I do with my computer. I game, browse the web, and watch videos.

Is it wise to stress the cores out now though? I don't want to fry them.

Also this is peculiar. It turns out I'm on an XFX Nforce 630i, not the 750i. This board only has two RAM slots, so why am I in single channel mode? There's no other RAM slot to move them around in for dual channel.
