Lame title, but best I could come up with.
Anyways, I haven't been playing any computer games lately so I'm not sure how long this has been an issue. I recall playing World of Warcraft and it lagging every minute or so for 10 seconds and then stopping, and it kept doing it. It shows that it was a widespread problem on their forum so I though nothing of it. I felt like playing Company of Heroes recently and noticed it does the same thing, as well as AoE 3 and any other game I play. I decided to open up Task Manager, wait for the lag spike and then exit out, trying to catch what was happening.
It seems as if many processes are being used at the same time for some reason. As soon as I exit out of the game, the spike is there for 1-2 seconds at around 60-78% then everything calms to 1-0%. I've ran my Spybot, VundoFix, AVG, MalwareBytes and I'm fairly certain everything is clean for the most part.

I've also seen some such as lasass.exe and csrss.exe come up, though I've searched and they are legit files.
