PLEASE HELP, my comp wont turn on!!!

so i was playing a not very demanding game, oblivion, and i move my foot and accidcentaly hit the button on my power strip, and it turned everything off. i turned it back on but now my computer wont turn onthe monitor and the lamp and the speakers that i have pugged into the strip all work, what is going on??!?!?!?!?!?!?! WHAT IS GOING ON????

Try unplugging the power cable for a little while, then plug it back in and try turning it on. I've had this happen to me before and just took some time to get it up and running again. Of course, this is more than likely the warning signs of a bad power supply. If you have a spare, I'd try starting up with that one and if it boots, try the other again. To put it bluntly, if it doesn't boot, you fried your PS, more than likely.

Ok, yeah that worked. Should I change out my ps in the near future? I haven't really taxed it at all

Depends on what PSU you have to begin with. And how old is this computer?
