keeps rebooting

i have a user that when he turns on his computer now it will go to the logon screen but just before the logon box comes up there computer reboots and it does it everytime now we have windows xp pro on there

go into safemode and run a virus scan

also check your grphics card drivers

happened to me too..win 2000 had virus...so had to reinstall win2000..

i try to reinstall and it still reboots i think the cpu is gone

when does it reboot? during the blue setup screen?

i had the same problem with XP. I had to select the options during setup real quick, before it rebootet

i think its something with your memory
do you have multiple sticks, can u take out one?
