TEC cooling?

How well does TEC work? I saw This today and I wondered how well ti worked. I know that most all in one exotic system tend to fail but I don't know much about TEC. Since its active I would assume its better than air cooling, but how does it stand up to WC?

I feel like it could beat a lower end WC system, but wouldn't really stand up against a good watercooling system.

Just from looking at their graphs, it doesn't work that well for the money. I'm assuming they're using stock coolers to base that off of, and 9c degree difference on a 4400+ for 150 bucks? I'd just get cpu WC loop. That's just me though.

not being sarcastic. that is a pretty good kit for the money. i have a similar setup excecpt i have a MCR120 instead of a MCR220 like in the link above. the apogee self drive is great. i got it (from the kit) and i modded it to the 18W version. look here for further info,
