but...if the design is similar to the 4870 (and im sure it is), it wont have enough cajones to cool the VRM. i had a musashi on mine and the VRM were hot hot hot.
they make a custom heastsink for them, but i think it is like 40 bucks.

Well I know loud, and true it's annoying but I'm water cooling and so I'll just use it as is until the block comes out (which shouldn't be too long)

I usually the sound system so loud i wouldn't even notice how loud they are anyways

EDIT: yeh I'm staying reference b/c there are already HD4890 waterblocks out and they seem to be designed to fit reference cards only anyways

I bought a $10 zerotherm heatsink kit form the Egg. it had a bunch of these little adhesive heatsinks. I stuck those puppies on and everything is nice and cool. I also have a Scythe slipstream jerry rigged to the cooler.
