Is this a virus?

I ran a MB quickscan, and 15 infected files were found, some of which were Trojan.Vundo. As MB scanned, Norton Antivirus suddenly detected two instances of Trojan.Vundo and SUPPOSEDLY automatically deleted them. Is there a connection here?

P.S. I ran another MB quickscan. It came up with 20 more infected files. I'll let you know what happens when it's through repairing them.

I'm not having any of the same troubles anymore. I ran yet another MB Quickscan and it didn't find any infected files. So for the moment, problem solved. :)

As Puddle Jumper said switch AV programs... Avast Home edition is free forever.. you have to register it once per year but remains free.
