On a P5Q you shouldn't need more than 1.28-1.3V for 500FSB on the NB

i can't break the 3.5ghz barrier, nothing, not even 505FSB, tried different vcores and increasing the NB voltage...I can get it to post @ 550FSB, but i cant get into windows

Did you try 501? 502? Even a little bit is nifty.

Also, what settings do you have your RAM at?

mmm i left it on auto....i think it's running @ 1668? and yeah, i was increasing by 5fsb each time......ack system restarted with no errors it seemed after 4 hrs of prime95 blend test

Mess around with your settings, maybe drop the frequency. I don't know how the BIOS in your mobo work though.
