I don't know if this topic has been used before, but im going to go ahead with it anyway.
Im purchasing a new puter over the next few weeks, i have my heart set on a athlon xp 64 3200, but ive noticed that it has a bus speed of 1600mhz. What im wondering is what ram can optimize this high bus speed, ive been looking around (and im quite new to this) but ive only noticed ram running at 400mhz and under. How would ram running at such a low speed optimize my high bus speed. If you know of any ram that runs at faster speed's, or if im wrong in general, please tell me.
Thanks.

Well DDR400 is pretty much your only choice I believe:p

And DDR400 creates a better FSB:Memory ratio speed then say going faster or slower:confused:

The onbaord memory controller also runs at 400mhz, quad pumped I believe:confused:

the 1600 bus speed is for the Northbrigde, the ram bus runs at 200, pc3200.

Note- i might have mixed up the North and southbridge, but u know what i mean.
