Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the fan blowing the wrong way? It seems to be blowing towards the front of the case...

Got my temps to 93-100F at idle(not great compared to what it was before this sudden outburst). Manageable now.

I guess it's just the ball bearing sticking out that throws me off...doesn't seem to make a lot of sense.

Yeah an idle of 93F = 36C which isn't bad at all...

...I know that. But generally in my experience with fans that are supposed to look like jet turbines push air out past the bulging ball bearing...

On a related note why is everyone recommending AS5? It has to cure before ti works well. TX-2 doesn't have that problem and works much better anyways. I think TX-2 is also cheaper.
You would be correct in thinking that, good sir. That's all I get now, is TX-2.

No one has recommended as5. That is what he has. In fact when he stated what he had I told him tx-2 was better.
