What does the GTX 260 eat up?

Well, it pretty much will run everything, especially if you are running below 1680x1050

If you are running at 1680x1050, then you may still gets some lag in Crysis....but everything else should be just fine.

The GTX 260 is a beast of a card....I could not believe how much better it was than my 9800GTX.

i've got a 13% oc on top of the factory overclock on my 260, and the highest ive ever seen it is 67c

Then again, water cooling has made me used to seeing much lower temps. Yay for 37C load?

and with the pc in my rig (except for 9800GTX, now have a GTX 260 core 216) i can "max out" crysis at 1680x1050 and average about 25-30FPS. i can run every other game i have maxed out and get a easy 60FPS. more if i turned Vsync off.

as soon as newegg gets the MCR220 back in stock i am going to get one of those and a full coverage block for my 260

I think it has mate. My GTX 285...try 83C.

Although they do run much hotter than 260s.

The PCB's are the same between the cards. The chip is the only difference. I can't see why his XSPC blocks wouldn't work just fine.

Plus, for $40 you can't really go wrong.

Not in mine
I run geo-forms and my OC'd 8600GT gets to 210ºF with the fan @ whatever XFX set the default fan speed to (I hope it's 70-100% because it is relatively loud compared to most fans in my case).
