Both of my buddies are looking for a good build with high game capabilities. They both have a budget, one is $1,000(less if possible) and the other is willing to pay from $1,000-$1,600.

ooops yeah that too =p forgot hehe
okay then need Mobo, RAM, PSU, GPU, CPU, Disc Drive, Hard Drive, OS, and Case

First Build's budget is $1000, less if possible
Second Build's budget is $1000-1600 but think you guys can save him some money too? (he wants a cheap/nice/flashy case -_-)

I'll do the second build, aiming for $1200. Would someone else like to do the first build?

Edit:
CPU - Newegg.com - Intel Core i7 920 Nehalem 2.66GHz 4 x 256KB L2 Cache 8MB L3 Cache LGA 1366 130W Quad-Core Processor - Processors - Desktops $288.99

Mobo - Newegg.com - ASUS P6T LGA 1366 Intel X58 ATX Intel Motherboard - Intel Motherboards $239.99 - not entirely sure about this motherboard, see what others say.

RAM - Newegg.com - G.SKILL 6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Triple Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Desktop Memory $89.99

GPU - Newegg.com - BFG Tech BFGEGTX2801024E GeForce GTX 280 1GB 512-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card - Desktop Graphics / Video Cards $289.99 - there's room in the budget to bump this up to a 285, if you want.

PSU - Newegg.com - CORSAIR CMPSU-750TX 750W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Compatible with Core i7 Power Supply - Power Supplies $124.99 (-$20 rebate)

HDD - Newegg.com - Western Digital Caviar Green WD10EADS 1TB 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive - Internal Hard Drives $89.99

OS - Newegg.com - Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 64-bit for System Builders - Operating Systems $99.99

Total: $1,223.93, -$20 rebates. Plenty of room in there for a disk drive (I recommend Sony or Samsung) and a good CPU cooler, and I'll let your friend choose the case. With his budget, he might even be able to fit in a small SSD.

Your other buddy with the smaller budget should probably look at a very similar build, except with an E8400 instead of an i7. Or maybe an Phenom II 740.
