I was trying to direct the second statement towards the OP, sorry if you got confused. I know I didn't make it apparent.

My point was it wouldn't matter if it was doubled or not, because it would be a waste. And since this is a build thread, that's important to know. The specifics of the performance increase is irrelevant. What is relevant is getting the best bang for buck when it comes to the hardware, so I will reiterate the need to grab either a 4870 or a 260 c216.
