I noticed you don't listen very well but I'm going to try anyways.
First off you said you want to be able to play crisis and have this build be future proof. A 4830 is not going to play crisis very well. What resolution/size is your monitor? 8gigs of memory will not make your rig futureproof. It will make it have a useless amount of ram. For your gfx card get atleast a 4850 and only 4gb of ram.

I will overclock my card to 4850, but is 4 gigs really that fast? Theres really just a 5-10 dollars change in price compared to a 2x2 and a 2x1, so if 4 gigs really is enough, I guess I'll just get a 2x2 since it's cheaper?

You can't measure GB in speed when it comes to ram. Ram is space for the CPU to store textures and instructions and a bunch of different stuff for quick access. Its a combination of the amount of space (4GB is plenty for everything except HD movie editing and 3D CAD work) and the speed of the ram.
