If I were to get (yes, I know.. dell, boo):

Dell Inspiron 530s
PROCESSOR Intel® Core™ 2 Duo Processor E7400 (3MB L2 Cache,2.80GHz,1066 FSB)
OPERATING SYSTEM Genuine Windows Vista® Home Basic Service Pack 1
MEMORY 3GB Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 800MHz - 4 DIMMs
HARD DRIVE 320GB Serial ATA Hard Drive (7200RPM) w/DataBurst Cacheâ„¢
OPTICAL DRIVE 16X DVD+/-RW Drive
VIDEO CARD Integrated Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 3100
SOUND CARD Integrated 7.1 Channel Audio

Dell gives me an option to upgrade the Video Card to a ATI Radeon HD 3450 256MB supporting HDMI.

If I were to just skip out on that and kept it with the integrated graphics, would/could this be a better upgrade to buy individually and do you think it would run it?

Newegg.com - EVGA 256-P2-N761-TR GeForce 8600 GTS 256MB 128-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card - Desktop Graphics / Video Cards

Thanks!

It would definitely run it, but I can't find the 3450 on our graphics card rankings so I can't tell you how they'd compare other than rough guesswork.

I did a Dell Instant Chat thing with one of their support people, I asked them the Wattage and what the rails were for the particular system.

All the person could tell me was that the system could only really manage 256MB video cards.

I don't know how true that is though.

Any ideas? Plus, thanks for those suggestions.
