Big problem

300 SHOULD be fine. Not guaranteeing it, but that is what was on that system before. How much of an upgrade was the video card? That would be my only worry is that the video card would push the system to need more than 300 watts.

i put the video card about a year and a half ago so i don't think thats the problem. I'll more than likely get that then let you know how it goes. I really appreciate all the help you guys have given me. Thanks.

Ok, got power supply installed. Pc started but within 30 seconds it just stopped and wouldn't come back on. Bummer.

Rest the BIOS. Ensure you have all of the power cables connected snugly and securely. Keep us posted and don't give up!

too late. I bought a new computer today. Plus i really don't know what it means to rest the BIOS. But thanks again. You have proven that there are helpful people out there and i will return here if i have anymore issues.
