i'm running xp pro, w/service pack2, with internet explorer as my browser. even tho i use the "internet options" and "tools" to set my home page [the ny times], msn explorer shows up as my home page about every 4 or 5 times that i call up internet explorer. i've unchecked msn explorer in add/remove windows programs as well.

any suggestions on how to permanently remove msn explorer?

thanks,

download hijack this, put it in a folder you created for it. run the scan, check the msn explorer box and tell it to fix it
