You talking about 400mhz fsb? The i7 don't use fsb, its now bclk (aka cpu frequency) with a higher cpu multiplier. The 920 has like 14x - 20x multiplier depending on the motherboard.

I meant would over-clocking the processor another 400MHz to 3.6GHz be worth it. Sorry about the confusion.

The extra 400mhz went not give too much because the i7 can handle anything you throw at it.

You do it because you can and want to see a quicker superpi run.
;)

OK thanks. Is there anything else I should replace or anything?
Edit: New power supply because the Thermaltake PSU Calculator recommended wattage is 1034W.

Alright that's a nice looking build now :D

Aspire.comptech will give you the lown down on the H20 but at a 3.6 Ghz overclock the SN9700 with an i7 adapter bracket would work nicely, or any of the better rated i7 coolers

and if your going for a new PSU i'd stick with the Corsair 80 Plus stuff

I changed my mind, I'm just going to over-clock to 3.2GHz. I forgot to update my other post though so sorry about the confusion. Corsair doesn't have any PSUs that have over 1000W so I can't change that. Sorry.

Edit: I know this has nothing to do with the current conversation but because I've only got two video cards, would I be able to have a sound card? There is a PCI Express slot left for it.

if you buying the Asus Rampage Extreme II then you don't have to worry about he sound card,

Asus has already thought well on placement and if you'll notice the black PCI 1.1 interface at the very top of all the PCi connectors that's where the packaged sound card belongs

But you also have to deal with Asus customer service if the board dies ><

Is there a high chance of it dying? Also, I added a CPU fan but I can't edit my post so I am reposting it here.:)
