I just did something really dumb. I arrived from the US, brought with me my daughter's PC and plugged it in without switching the power supply to 230 volts. Result: loud flash and bang - and even when I did switch it over to 230 volts, it is dead.
QUESTION: Is it possible to get a replacement AND to have this installed? If so, where would I get one and who would be able to install it? I have ZERO technical knowledge about these things. Or should I just suck it up and replace the PC? Bummer, because all my daughter's stuff is on the hard drive.
