has anyone seen the specs on the nVidea 295?

I find it strange that the RV770 card didn't do as well in COD5. To my knowledge, COD5 is based on COD4's engine, which RV770 did very well in.

Perhaps Nvidia has them producing, erm... "optimisations", kinda like in Crysis.

Meant to be played with Nvidia?

the GTS 250 is a 9800 GTX+ with a different name

^^ i hate it how Nvidia is doing this. Renaming old cards. I think AMD is starting to do the same now, first is the RV790 being an OCed RV770.

That doesn't seem as accurate to me as ours (I mean their vs our top 10)

This has already been explained. AMD has a gpu cycle similar to Intels cpu cycle. Die shrinks and enhancements, then a new chip. RV790 was always going to be this way. And everybody knew it. They bring in a die shrink after six months, stop complaining. It replaces the RV770 chips.

i dunno. my 3d06 score is substantially higher with this 216 vs my 1gb 4870. i think maybe they have that right.
