Nvidia's GeForce GTS 250

Ah, seems that XFX one is the most expensive one I can find - this one, for example, is only £110. ~£140 seems the average though.

EVGA is competing fairly well for my favorite GPU manufacturer as of late, but XFX is still kind in my book.

i also think that nvidia needs to drop the prices of the GTX 260 down to the 4850 price then nvidia will be extremely competive.
That won't happen. Nvidia can't win on price against RV770 with G200; G200 is just a much bigger die, and is significantly more expensive to make.
AMD can afford to have their prices lower than Nvidia's cards.

Basically, Nvidia needs a new, smaller and/or faster GPU to remain cost competitive.
ati might win in fps but nvidia drivers>ati drivers
If you've used a recent ATI driver you wouldn't say that.
Ever since AMD acquired ATI, their drivers have gotten far better.

...and nvidia coolers>ati coolers
I don't think they are better. AMD just sometimes put the fan speeds lower than they could have.
