no more 8800GTS, what to SLI with ??

I'm pretty sure as long as the card has the same architecture you can SLI with it. For example the g92 arhcitecture is still used in the 9800 gt or gtx, so you could SLI with that I believe. Of course the performance will be downgraded in the 9800 to the 8800

edit: I looked it up, the 8800 gtx runs a g80 core, while the 8800GT and the 8800GTS run a g92 core. So I think you could do it.

That is very wrong. Don't post information if you're just guessing.

SLI can only be done between 2 of the exact same card. The only differences allowed are different brands but the card has to be exactly the same otherwise.

The one exception is in memory capacity.

a 1gb and 512mb 8800gt for example can be SLi'd, however half the memory on the 1gb card is no longer used.
 
looks like a can get another 8800gts for like 80 bucks shipped over on SLI. Looks like thats the way I'm gonna go :)
