Hello,

I recently upgraded my old dell pc with new parts except the hard driver and the ram.
I am wanting to buy more ram and I am not entirely sure what type I need. Am I right in thinking that I can only have a maximum of 2 gigs with this Mobo?

Could some kindly soul tell me what type of ram is needed?

Kindest Regards,

Mark

run cpuz to get the motherboard info to make sure. According to your specs above it is the MICRO-STAR INC. MS-6788 20A but I could not find much info on that one.

CPUID

I had a Dell Dmension 8200 and it took RAMBUS ram.....make sure your ram is not that.....because if it is ....it will be way to expensive to upgrade......if it is not rambus, then you should be fine.
