High-End Gaming Computer Rig - NO BUDGET

If you have unlimited budget you should look into better cooling then you have picked. The GPU cooler you picked isn't compatible with the card you picked and unless there is an adapter I don't think that cpu cooler will work either. Check out Thermalright for some very good air cooling. You might have a hard time finding something to work with the GTX 295 though.

Also maybe just a personal preference but if you have unlimited budget you should look into Lian Li or Silverstone cases. My next computer will be in a Lian Li case. They are so nice to work in and they have excellent build quality. Nothing wrong with the 1200 its a fine case, just adding my opinion on that as the case is really your choice.

And with unlimited budget and the hardware you have picked you should look at a 24" or bigger monitor. Or a 22" that does 1080P. It would be able to do 1080P if you hooked up a PS3 or Xbox and for HD movies. And gaming at 1920x1200 wouldn't be a problem with that videocard and the games will look great. I noticed you mention it in your first post but you picked out a 22" monitor.

Ok thanks. I have updated it with a 24" monitor and have changed the case. Will I still need more fans even though the case comes with about 5?

I would go with a different monitor. Get an HP or a Samsung. Go to your local Fry's if you live near one or some other computer store and compare them. I have never seen an Asus in person so I don't know how they look. You would be surprised at the drastic differences between monitors.

I saw this one in person and I think it looks fabulous but it has a glossy screen so if there is any light behind you, it could be very annoying

I also saw this one right next to it. It had a matte screen which was nice but it was not as bright and vibrant

I strongly recommend looking at monitors in person before buying them.

I have a Acer P223W that has the glossy screen and when on, it doesn't reflect at all, but is real easy to clean when off.

if you are going to spend 5K on a computer, IMO it would be foolish to not have a monitor that will do 2560 x 1600 (a good 30" would be great. also, another gfx card will help with this high a resolution). you can get a good 30" for 1K if you look around, leaving you 4K for the rig itself which should be waaaaay more than enough unless you like wasting money.
spend all that cash and then have a wee little 300 dollar 24"? cmon man.

I agree. The monitor is what you see your computer through. A gtx295 is wasted on a 24". I would go for 2 or 3 gtx 285s and a 30" monitor.

OK, I will. I only have room for 3 cards and I'm getting a sound card so would 2 graphics cards with 1792MB each (3584MB in total) be good enough? Could everyone please suggest some decent 30" monitors?

lol. uh, yeah. theyd be good enough. it seems the driver issues with quad sli have been worked out pretty much. scaling not that jaw-dropping but i guess thats ok if you got the cash. if you are going 2 x 295 then you DEFINITELY should get a 30" monitor.
you said you weren't going to overclock your cpu?
you dont need to get two gtx295 if you dont. thats too much gpu for a stock chip (yes even a nehalem extreme). you need to put a healthy OC on it or a single 295 will pretty much tax it. 2 cards would be like, farting in the wind, as the old saying goes.
if you get two gtx295 cards, prepare in advance for your utility bill my friend. if you game more than 15 minutes a day or so. heh heh.
if you want a good monitor, get a dell. $1150 for a 30". response time kinda weak though. samsung syncmaster is about 1000 on newegg i think.
