I'm aiming to build a new computer in the near future. I've ordered from NewEgg.com before, so I'd prefer the use of that site, if possible.

So here it is, I want a build that's around $2,100 (shipping + taxes to 93312 area code)

I've come up with a few builds of my own, and I was wondering what else is out there for around the same price, depending on personal tastes, opinions, etc.

I'd be more than happy for a few complete build replies of what you would think to be a nice PC for around this price. Thanks :D

edit: by the way, this includes monitor/keyboard/mouse, as well <.<

Look into an i7 build with that kind of money. I would make a full build for you, but I have to head out, lol. Someone will post one.

I've never really tried making i7 builds, but I got this together. Someone will probably have something better though. :p

This choice can be up to you, I just like this case in particular

Now I have no idea how big a monitor you want. I'll throw in some suggestions for some.
Newegg.com - ASUS VH226H Black 21.5" 2ms(GTG) HDMI Widescreen 16:9 Full HD 1080P LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 1000:1 (ASCR 12000 : 1) Built in Speakers - LCD Monitors

Newegg.com - Acer H213H bmid Black 21.5" 5ms HDMI Full HD 1080P Widescreen 16:9 LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 ACM 20000:1 Built in Speakers - LCD Monitors

Newegg.com - Acer P243WAid Black-Silver 24" 2ms(GTG) HDMI Widescreen LCD Monitor with HDCP Support 400 cd/m2 3000:1 ACM - LCD Monitors

Newegg.com - ASUS MK241H Black 24" 2ms HDMI Widescreen LCD Monitor with 1.3M Pixel Webcam 450 cd/m2 1000:1 (ASCR 3000:1) Built in Speakers - LCD Monitors

Total is $1475 without a monitor/keyboard and there are $105 of mail on rebates. Nothing is set in stone these are just suggestions.

Save some cash and get the i7 920 vs the 940. It is about $300 more for the 940 and the benefits are not worth $300.

Dont get that g.skill set that gt7sanremo said, they had like 70% negative reviews and one day they just vanished and its back to no comments. Grab the OCZ Platinums for $129 with Cas 7.
