Intel Q9550 overclocking advice needed...

Well, I increased my FSB from 1333mhz to 1500mhz and it automatically adjusted my voltages to what they needed to be. I'm now running at 3.19ghz stable. I don't know how much higher I could take it without frying something so I'll not run it any higher than 3.2 - 3.4ghz.

bump up the FSB to 380 and you will be at 3.2ghz. then manually set the voltage to 1.3V and you should be good.

Well, I seem to be having a problem, or maybe it's normal. Why is it that everytime I set my voltage and clocks, everything works just fine until I reboot my pc and then it defaults back to the factory settings? This is rather irritating. I've saved the settings in the CMOS but if I reboot, everything reverts back to what it was before I increased the clocks and voltages.

no, thats not normal. try replacing the CMOS battery. the mobo resets to default when it is dead (it has no power to save your bios settings).
