High-End Gaming Computer Rig - $3000-$5000

I already had a thread about this but it died and I want to make this one a little bit different.
Anyway I am not going to do over-clocking so please don't tell me to.
Anyway, please suggest the best part. Also, what would you need for gaming on a 1920X1200 with the best FPS possible. Like, what do you need to upgrade to run smoothly on high resolutions.

How about a price range? You can spend a ton of money for a small increase in performance. ie i7 920 $289 vs i7 965 $1000. Of course the 965 is better. Is it $700 better? No. A single gtx 295 will give you great performance. Is it worth another $500 to go with 2 in sli? No.

The point is do you want a great system for around $3,000 to $3,500 or do you want an insane system for around $6,000 to $7,000?

Your right, I should specify a price range. Well what about $3,000-$5,000? Or should I make the gap smaller?

Newegg.com - Western Digital Caviar Black WD1001FALS 1TB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive - Internal Hard Drives

Total around $1900.

You still need an os (vista home prem 64bit), heat sink or liquid cooling for cpu, sound card if wanted, dvd/blue ray drives, case (personal choice), monitor if needed, keyboard and mouse if needed. For the rest of the needed stuff you would spend between $500 to $1,000 (unless monitor is needed).

The ssd is pretty much unnecessary but would be fast.

You could get the i7 940 for $560 or 965 for $1000 but not really necessary.

You could get a second gtx 295 for $500 but not necessary.

OK, I'm pretty sure I've gone over the budget I set but oh well. Anyway, I've used what you've said and edited it and added on. I don't know if the fans are necessary because the case comes with some (I think), but oh well. Anyway, please tell me anything thats not very good or anything like that.

If you have unlimited budget you should look into better cooling then you have picked. The GPU cooler you picked isn't compatible with the card you picked and unless there is an adapter I don't think that cpu cooler will work either. Check out Thermalright for some very good air cooling. You might have a hard time finding something to work with the GTX 295 though.

Also maybe just a personal preference but if you have unlimited budget you should look into Lian Li or Silverstone cases. My next computer will be in a Lian Li case. They are so nice to work in and they have excellent build quality. Nothing wrong with the 1200 its a fine case, just adding my opinion on that as the case is really your choice.

And with unlimited budget and the hardware you have picked you should look at a 24" or bigger monitor. Or a 22" that does 1080P. It would be able to do 1080P if you hooked up a PS3 or Xbox and for HD movies. And gaming at 1920x1200 wouldn't be a problem with that videocard and the games will look great. I noticed you mention it in your first post but you picked out a 22" monitor.

I don't really know anything about coolers so thats why I've got such bad choice.

Anyway, would it run at high framerate on full settings on all games with a 1920x1200 monitor? And would I need to upgrade anything for it?

Not Crysis, but every other game would
