Re: Official Post your laptop! and Specs!

Sager 86
CPU: Pentium 133MHz
RAM: 16MB
HDD: 1GB
Screen: 640x480, Chips and Technologies graphics
Battery: NiMH, useless and won't hold a charge
Drives: Floppy and CD-ROM
OS: Windows 95, though I had Linux on it before
I got this one free :)

IBM ThinkPad A21p
CPU: Pentium 3 850MHz
RAM: 512MB PC133
HDD: 120GB Seagate Momentus (brand new drive, old 30GB died)
Screen: 1600x1200 15.4" LCD, ATi Rage Mobility 128 16MB AGP2X graphics
Drives: DVD-ROM, Floppy
Battery: I've gone through 3 of them, but my new off-brand one works
OS: Originally Windows 2000 Pro, it now dual boots XP Home and Ubuntu 8.10
This was actually my first laptop, I bought it on eBay used because I wanted something portable that was cheap. My desktop (an AthlonXP) was better but I used this more because it is portable.

HP Pavilion dv9700t
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo T9300 (2.5GHz)
RAM: 3GB DDR2
HDD: 250GB
Screen: 1680x1050 17" BrightView with nVidia 8600M GS 512MB OC'd in BIOS
Drives: DVD+/-RW
Battery: Extended 6-cell
OS: Quad-booting Vista Ultimate 64(what it came with), XP Pro 32, Ubuntu 8.10 64, and Mac OSX 10.5.2, my main OS being Vista

This is my college laptop, I got it after graduating high school and it is my fastest computer, though it spends most of its time sitting on my cooling pad charging or in my backpack, forgotten, often ending up uncharged when I need it for class.

Re: Official Post your laptop! and Specs!

Toshiba A215-4697

2gb DDR2-533MHz ram (Upgraded from 1gb)

I've had Vista Ultimate, Vista Home Premium, Server 2008, Win7 and now XP Pro SP3. But I'm not a fan of xp so vista is going back on soonish.

Laptop I'm getting once I graduate,

Apple MacBook Pro (2009 Edition)

2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
4GB 1066MHz DDR3 SDRAM
320GB Serial ATA @ 7200
