x1650 agp (nonpro) crashes on games

im suspecting my psu to be the problem, it came with the case few years back. its 400W, requirements for that card are lower (350W). i checked using come program, and my psu only outputs 8.3v on the +12v rail that is connected to the card.

That 12 volt rail will be anywhere between 8 and 12 volts (i believe), so it isn't always going to be a constant 12 volt current.

You can always switch out the PSU to see if the problem persists.

if the 12V rail isn't putting out at least 11.4V, I'd ditch it immediately
