new motherboard, no picture

I reformatted before i changed motherboards so nothing except the OS was on my HD, will that still be causing BSOD's? if so ill reformat if i can get the boot device working, im in the bios now.

you NEED to reinstall your os. there are drivers for the old mobo still on there (that's what is blue screening you, the old drivers loading for the new board) and until you reinstall the os it will keep blue screening.
 
^ Word to that, any major hardware change like a motherboard swap, you need to do a repair install or completely wipe the drive from fresh install.
 
I thought reformatting then installing nothing but the OS would be fine, i didnt install any drivers for my old motherboard, but guess that doesnt work, all is fine now except my pc is asking me to insert a drive into a floppy disk to create something after i installed my motherboard drivers ;x
