Well, it's better than the 9800GTX+, and cheaper...it wins in my book.

EDIT: Looks like it even beats the 260 c216 in the filtering rates...not that it matters, lol.

It is nice that it's smaller than the 9800GTX+

After looking at the 2gb, I dunno if it's really worth buying...but I could be wrong.

i think the tiebreaker is on your motherboard really...if you have an nvidia mobo you might as well get the GTS 250 if that fits your budget, if you're on an intel/amd mobo (and you are considering multigpu) then snag the ati 4850....

also, remember the GTS 250 doesnt do tri-SLI from what ive heard....

Why would an Nforce mobo matter? Seems to me its more the more logical choice than the 9800GTX now...

I think he's trying to say if you want to SLI, go with an nForce board...which is really a given, and has no real bearing on this story, lol. The point of this is the huge price drop for a card better than the 9800GTX+.

hmm, this is interesting. only a couple of frames above the 9800GTX+, which is slightly disappointing. but looks to be a nice alternative to the 4850.
