PC configuration - advice

A budget would give me a better idea.

Give me a budget, or a idea of what kind of build you will need, and what it will be used for?

All I saw was COD5, but, what else?
 
OK. I wish to fit in $1000 or less:) But I kow sometimes is worth to add another $100 to get something much power. As I said I do some graphic design ->photoshop, flash, corel. Some website design. Some gaming (last game I remember was Q3 wish to play something new). But what is importand I dont want computer which in 1 year will be a junk and needs to be upgraded or something wont work on it. Something for next 5-6 years:). Is it possible???
BTW. What is COD5?
 
COD5 = Call of Duty: World at War, the latest from the call of duty series. Good game by the way.

Total is $925.40, then $20 mail in rebate. You can choose another case if you want, it's your own personal preference. But I left some room, money wise, for an OS if you need one.
 
Could pick another case (maybe cheaper). I dont care about look:) Just want to be sure that will fit.
...last question.
Is this configurationa better (more power) than cofiguration AMD sent by zedman??
