Hey, what video card no more than $215 would be good to connect to my HD tv 1080p and my monitor at the same time.

What I'm trying to do is have a video card that will let me output two pictures... one on my 1080 and another on my regular monitor. I would prefer ATI if posible but nVidia is good also.

I have a PCI express x16... not 2.0

thank you

yes, it doubles the available bandwidth. BUT...a regular old PCIE x16 slot is not really taxed. no its not worth buying a mobo just for that if he has a mobo with PCIE 1.0/1.1. they aren't even being used to their bandwidth limits by most (if not all) cards currently availible.

Not quite. The 4870 uses GDDR5 which is much faster than the GDDR3 in the 4850. To match the memory bandwidth you would have to have a pretty massive clock speed advantage, one that would be impossible to reach on air cooling.
