im looking to repair a driver issue for someone but he has left no number for contact nor a return date and well his comp is worth alot. now..... all i need to kno is if there is any generic password that can be used to gain access to the computer management control in control panel. also i need to be able to reset the admin password too. there is no other usernames on the comp. i have tried to use the helpassistant username that is availiable and also the SUPPORT_388945a0 but neither work... is there any way of gaining access to the system??? all i wana do is install his drivers.

I have used this one many times over. It take less than 5 minutes.
I normally charge $80+GST for desktop and $120 for Servers.
Windows Xp being the way it is, I normally ask "Is there any user names or passwords that I need to use to access the system with?" as a standard question.

Just press F8 to access safemode before windows start,
then---->>> USER
and build up an Adminstrator
then you can delet the user and user's passwords of NORMAL.
Above all,the adminstrator in safemode is the real adminstrator,
you can't lose the passwords of its.
