Nah, DDR3 is only good for an i7 build, because Nehalem was designed for that kind of memory. The P5Q Pro supports Crossfire as well, stick with DDR2. There is only like a 2% performance difference between DDR2 and DDR3 with Core 2 Duo.

Yup, the DDR2 version is nice. Either P5Q Pro or UD3P, both are quality boards.
