Thinking of upgrading..

Was looking at this card: Newegg.com - MSI N260GTX-T2D896-OCv2 GeForce GTX 260 896MB 448-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card - Desktop Graphics / Video Cards


My current psu is an Antec earthwatt 500 with 2 12v 22a rails. I want to upgrade it.
Is this a good psu: Newegg.com - Thermaltake W0158RU 650W SLI Ready CrossFire Ready Active PFC VGA Power Supply - Power Supplies. My psu is bottom mounted so i try to stay with the front to back venting.

Im using an Antec 900 case with 6+ fans.
Would a top mount fan psu cause much of a heat difference?

Suggestions are welcome. Looking to go 200-250 on video and 150 on psu.
Would like a modular psu, if there is a decent one.

This is what im running:

GA-MA78G-DS3HP Motherboard
Phenom II X4 920 2.8GHz
OCZ Platinum 4GB (2 x 2GB) ddr2 1066
Caviar Black WD750

I don't even think you have to upgrade your psu. You have plenty of amps for a 260. And they don't consume that much power. Check it out:

By itself on full load, it only draws like 190w with 16 amps.

I've always used Nvidia.
Are Ati any better, i see they usually have more streaming Processing Units?

I've got my 260 on a 520hx with 3 18Amps in a 900. Should be good.
