Think about this. getting a 150 dollar monitor and a real good 300 buck vga card with about amazing athlon 3500+ or about 800 buck

I bought my viewsonic LCD for 600 bucks even. It refreshes at 16 miliseconds, the fastest that I know of at the time of purchase (like a month ago). It's model # VP171s , 17", silver case, if you want black then it's VP171b. Check out viewsonic.com for cheaper displays, but the pro series (P) have the 16ms refresh rates.

BenQ has cheaper LCDs that have the same refresh rate, but I trust viewsonic more.

EDIT: I just noticed that the samsung has a refresh rate of 12ms, go for it if you want to save some dough.
