NEVER EVER use anything such as nail polish remover as it has other chemicals in it. The only thing you should EVER use is a lint free cloth and 90% or better iso. alcohol..

I use regular 70% and it works fine for me . But yeah, the higher the alcohol concentration, the better.

personally i've always used methylated spirits which is just as good, it's almost 100% ethanol. also agree on the lint free cloth. i've generally used ones that come with glasses cases for cleaning your glasses. of course you wouldn't then reuse it on your glasses.
