Razer Lycosa - my thoughts

the orange dont bother me too much. but i dont know how i lived with out the screen in the past. i am fine with it being at the un-adjustable angle.

i wish bestbuy had a display of that kb. it looks sick.

It looks nice. Does the matte black palm rest come off as well? It seems like this keyboard would be pretty nifty. I wonder how you could mod it so there would be less interference with the audio ports.

Wow I was very skeptical about the back light but from your second picture it's as bright as day :]

More of a luxury? This keyboard gets the job done I guess (standard keyboard)

I wanted a Razer keyboard, but I couldn't pass up my Eclipse for $20. I may yet get to move up to a Razer KB one day...

Does the matte black palm rest come off as well?

yes. it uses 4 phillips head screws.
Which means you need a screwdriver to take it off. But it won't break nearly as easily as the G15's palm rest clips.

I wonder how you could mod it so there would be less interference with the audio ports.

That is something I want to look into.

I got the Arctosa-black on account of it being cheaper, but it still had the cool hardware I wanted...

what? in that pic is says the lycosa does not have non slip rubber keys. Mine does? Im pretty sure they all do...

There are 2 lycosa keyboards. The standard and the Mirror. The standard has the non-slip rubber, where as the mirror has the high gloss finish.
