Ok so my problem is that my pc takes long to boot up.
It boots up fine until right after the Windows XP logo screen. Right after the xp logo the screen goes black for about 1 minute then the welcome screen shows up and it stays there for about 4-5 mins.
Ive scanned the computer for viruses in:
normal mode
safe mode
and ive also done a boot scan.
So there is no viruses.
Ive re installed all system files using my XP cd so it isnt the system files and ive done a system restore so it isnt a software issue.
What can be the problem?
My pc specs are:
Intel quad q8200 2.33ghz
4gb ram
Gigabyte EP45-DS3L
500GB SATA
XP Home SP3
