help with psu/ram/case

The one that gt7 suggested is better, but I remember you saying that you wanted a modular, so that's why I suggested the Xigmatek.

But on the other hand, if you planned on adding another HD4870X2, and maybe other stuff in the future, you'd most likely be using up most of the PSU cables. Therefore, not really a need for a modular.

Even with modular, there are still lots of cables around so I wouldn't base your choice on that. Get a good PSU quality wise. Get this one Newegg.com - PC Power & Cooling S75QB 750W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI NVIDIA SLI Certified (Dual 8800 GTX and below) CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Power Supply - Power Supplies

Oh and upgrading to quadfire in a year or 2 with 2x 4870x2's would be pointless. Quadfire isn't very effective and so you won't see much performance boost. Just get a new card when the 4870x2 isn't cutting it for you anymore.

I would save 197.97 more bucks.
Cpu: Core i7 920
Case: Antec 902
PSU: Corsair 620HX
RAM: Corsair 6GB dominator 1600mhz

total 797.97

no point to cut corners halfway through a build.
