mm as the title says..

overclocking intel core i7 920

Thermaltake Spedo Advance Package or Antec 1200
i wuold like to overclock it on air.. so which one would give me most potential
and whichever ever one you pick .. how much do you think i could overclock it to..?

THANKYOU ALL :D

rest of specs

Processor: Intel Core i7 920
Graphics: Gtx 280 or Gtx 285
Mobo: GA-EX-58-UD5 or DS4

Well I would recommend the one in my sig, CoolerMaster HAF932, but out of the two you gave, the 1200 looks best.

How high you can overclock it to depends on how good your CPU cooler is, if it's stock you can probably only increase it about 10% maybe, if it's a good aftermarket cooler then depending on just how good it is, you could push it to 3.5, maybe.

i agree with Yamikotai i had alook at his case online and seems to have VERY good air cooling on it

Yarp, it's a beauty ^_^ There's also the HAS932 which is exactly the same but has an in-built LCD screen+fan controller, but that's a bit pricy :p

well you know what they say the more money it is the better the case is ;)

and that case is one heck of a beauty wouldnt mind it myself lol

*edit*

this is a case im gonna get once i sell the one i have and some other parts :D

Antec 300 Three Hundred Case - No PSU - Ebuyer

mm.. i have been looking at the haf 932 for sometime as well but
would it have more airflow than both of them..?

Look at a few reviews online, and look at the benchmarks. It beats the Antec 1200 in pretty much every review :)
