So let me know your thoughts... keep in mind i really have no clue what I'm doing with this stuff... i know a lil bit, but if i knew for sure how it would all work together, i wouldn't be asking youguys.

thanx again

Don't get any of them... we can help you put together something and guide you on how to build it. you will learn in the process, get what you WANT, instead of what's given, and assure yourself you can fix it if there is a problem.

but please don't get those... non of them would be very good for gaming. you can fins a much better deal elsewhere. Even in SLI of Crossfire, the graphics cards suck. about the only thing that is good about those is you get an OS already installed.

Totally agree.

What do you recommend?

BTW... I need the rig to run COD world at war
and be under $800 ...or at lease close to $800

...best case scenario..?

That's great for $800 Nukem, maybe change the ECS p45 board to the Biostar TP45HP..

and if he can't afford an OS, he could use Windows Server 2008 free as a temporary solution

Mine was solid for $700 :D

hmm... that build sounds nice... wut would be an advantage of getting vista as my OS... i have XP home ed. sp3 to put on the new comp.

if you already have an OS, then great... saves you money... but MS will be discontinuing updates of XP sometime in the future, so Vista/Windows 7 will be the next thing. That's the only reason why I chose Vista
